Seminar for Professional Trail Contractors Offered at IMBA Summit - Press Release "Do you have the skills to move dirt, and now you want to turn pro? This fee-based course, taught by members of the Professional Trailbuilders Association, will provide you all the information you need to know regarding business development, marketing, accounting, equipment purchase and maintenance, and insurance. This two-day, fast-paced seminar will culminate in a field trip to various trails and a demonstration of typical trail construction equipment. Come network with existing professionals and aspiring builders to start your business off on the right foot!"
Seminar Cost - $500 For more information, please contact Pete Webber at pete@imba.com or by phone at (303) 562-7510 Trips for Kids Conference / Youth Mountain Biking MeetingTrips for Kids will host a free one-day conference the day prior to the IMBA Summit for all Trips for Kids chapters and anyone interested in starting a Trips for Kids program. This conference will help new groups get started and will enhance the development of established groups through shared experiences and ideas. At 3pm the meeting will be open to all youth groups for facilitated networking - anyone involved (or interested in becoming involved) in youth mountain biking is welcome to attend. Founded in 1988, Trips For Kids is a non-profit program that provides the materials, moral support, and inspiration that an individual or group needs to help disadvantaged kids discover the joy of mountain biking. Operating in the United States and Canada, Trips For Kids opens the world of cycling to at risk youth through mountain bike rides and Earn-A-Bike programs.
