    Things to Do in Park City with your Family

    Park City is a great place for a family vacation - so bring your kids. We will have childcare available.

    Area attractions include:
    • Alf Engen Ski Museum - Located at Olympic Park, this 4,000 square foot museum features interactive exhibits highlighting the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the history of skiing and Nordic jumping.
    • Alpine Slide - Located at the Park City Mountain Resort, this attraction lets visitors race down the mountain aboard wheeled toboggans.
    • Eccles Performing Arts Center - This state-of-the-art theater hosts an eclectic variety of musical, theatrical, and dance performances, and hosts youth-focused arts programs throughout the year.
    • Egyptian Theater Park City - Opened in 1924 as the "Showplace of the West," the recently refurbished Egyptian Theater continues to thrive as a unique cinema and performing arts theater.
    • Kimball Art Center - A non-profit organization, this intimate exhibition space displays innovative visual works, and hosts community programs and events throughout the year.
    • Norwegian Outdoor Exploration Center - Founded in 1980, the Center utilizes the great outdoors to provide unique leisure tours, team-building programs, and youth summer programs.
    • Old Town Main Street - Once a popular destination among the city's founding miners, today Main Street offers an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops, and nightlife options.
    • Park City Balloon Adventures - Experience Park City from above! Sunrise tours are available year-round, and include champagne and certificate of flight.
    • Park City Historical Society & Museum - Learn about the history of Park City, from its silver mines to its winter sports. Tour an authentic stagecoach, or step inside the city's 19th century jail!
    • Park City Museum & Territorial Jail - Originally used to house petty criminals, today the jail provides a fascinating look into Park City's past.
    • Summit County Courthouse Museum - Still in operation, this historic courthouse houses a diverse variety of artifacts from Summit County's past.
    • Utah Olympic Park - Channel the Olympian spirit at the Utah Olympic Park - site of the 2002 Winter Games. Zip down the Alpine Slide, or tour the state-of-the-art competition facilities.
    • The Tanger Outlet Mall - Boasting 47 brand-name outlets, this mall is a bargain shopper's paradise.
    • Wasatch Mountains - Offering a wide array of winter and summer activities, Wasatch Mountain State Park allows visitors to enjoy the Great Outdoors year-round.
    • Jordanelle Reservoir - A major attraction within Jordanelle State Park, the Reservoir is a popular destination for swimming, fishing, boating, and water sports.
    • Lagoon Amusement Park - Located 42 miles from Park City, this is the largest amusement park between Kansas City and San Francisco, Lagoon Amusement Park boasts seven roller coasters, a water park, kiddie area, "X-Venture Zone," and even a campground.
